The paper is an FSC-certified paper made up of 65% virgin fibers, 20% recycled material, and 15% cotton fibers. The finish is a luxurious, textured surface that is soft to the touch, very similar to high-quality watercolor paper. The design is my own, drawn using Procreate, and inspired by my Soy Sauce Fish acrylic brooch/necklace/hairpin. It's based on the soy sauce bottle used for ordering takeaway or packed lunches, known as 'shoyu-tai', designed in the 1950s in Osaka, Japan. The prints are resistant to UV light and are PH neutral, making them suitable for long-term display, and are printed locally in the UK. The print comes in a protective cello bag with a cardboard back to avoid damage.
