A B O U T

We are Joe + Sarah a creative couple based in Margate, UK. We met through a mutual love of colour and design appreciation. 

Joe originally from the Midlands studied Illustration at university and has an MA in Graphic Design, since then he has self taught himself ceramics. After an accident in London which left him with epilepsy. Loves collaging and also plays around with music. 

Sarah originally from SE London studied Graphic Design at university, has always preferred to work with her hands rather than a computer. Balancing the act of freelance and retail/barista for 10+ years. Loves Plants and the Outdoors!

We have lived in Margate for 8 + 4 years. We love the calm seaside town but have always missed visiting design stores. 

We think It's time to develop a shop space of our own. Hence Asobi Store :)
